No problem on downgrading or bailing out. Everything will get sold anyhow.

Hi,would like to ask u,if there is an onboard protected external CV input for waveform selection and distortion on top of the '5v pot CV's inputs'

cheers

Looks like you have been studying the possibilities on the 0-5v inputs on the pic pins. I am way ahead of you and thought about that yesterday too. I came up with this layout and basically copied what i did with the Freq CV input. I don't know if I will make this board, I just got it out of the way for now. PM if you want the zip to have it made like right now. The difference is I chucked the Analog LFO's and laid out all the possible CV inputs for LEVEL, SH rate, and DISTORTION,

As far as CV input protection, it is going from jack to 100k, then to a TL072 ic (-) side of the op-amp, standard basic stuff. There is no ~10v Zener Diode or anything like that. i don't recommend just doing a hack directly onto the pins of the Pic with just an input jack, if your gonna add the cv capabilities jumper onto another protoboard with those TL072 buffers like on the PDF. Digital chips get easily damaged if you input more then 5v. The circuit was originally designed for 15v usage so there should not be a problem.

DONOT GET CONFUSED WITH THIS PICTURE, THIS IS NOT THE BOARD THAT WAS ORDERED FOR THE 2nd RUN!!

This pic is just to share and answer a question.

could you have the circuit for the distortion and extra cv inputs
would make a nice daughter board

I'll take a PCB and burned PIC please?

Not sure how I'll cram it behind a euro panel but I'll worry about that later.

Let me know when you require payment.
Thanks
David

Well with the PCB layout i just posted above you could sacrifice for example the "Level CV" and criss cross that resistor that was supposed to lay straight flat and have it go to one of those CV circuits instead.

I will post the cv circuit alone, first the protoboard style picture, then later a schematic.

Here is the CV input circuit, the control knob for that input you decide to midify goes to a 5k resistor then to Main Analog positive voltage instead of 5v. I just noticed on the PCB i posted above(not the 2nd run/don't worry) i forgot to do that Embarassed . That's already fixed.

What is the function of the 6 switches (2 DPDT, 2 SPDT and 2 on/off/on)?

Thanks

The six switches are for the Analog LFO only. 3 is for (1) Analog LFO, so the other (3) just mirrors.

Time Switch(SPDT): toggles between (2) Capacitor values to give you 2 ranges in speed.

SQUARE ON/OFF(DPDT) switch: turns the square on/off

Shape Switch (SPDT) w/ center off: toggles shapes---Saw up/triangle(center off)/ saw down.

The simple LFO was influenced from Ray Wilson's SoundLab Plus and modified with the Time Modification.

Download this to help you zoom in and see the pcb if you cannot read a value or get confused.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To also sum it up:
Rev1.1 requires Jumpers

Rev1.2 does not require jumpers

I built a Motm style one yesterday populating the digital LFO only.
The pic shows Rev 1.1 with the 2 jumpers needed on the pots.
