A quick hello from another new member. I'm here because Kassen (who's here right now helping me out with some musical issues) told me I had to.

I'm Chinetti, I've been making music for about 8 years now and I do some work for television as an editor and producer, but that's only once a week. The rest of the week I see myself surrounded by cheap budget synths below the psychological 250 euro range.

Some of the synths I use often are Akai AX 60 and AX 80, Yamaha DX7 and TX7, LEM Bit99 Korg DW8000, Nord Rack 1, and as of yesterday a nice and simple (?) Micro Modular. I still sequence everything with my Amiga 1200.
Posted Image, might have been reduced in size. Click Image to view fullscreen.

My musical taste differs I guess, I like anything made with synths as long as it isn't too cheesy: chicago house, detroit techno but also soundtracks and other non-dancefloor electronic music.

welcome Chinetti

Kassen is right, you have to be a memeber here. Laughing

Seriously, looks like a really nice studio. One can never have too many synthesizers.

A little, perhaps. I was over at Chinetti´s place to celebrate new year and help get his liveset into his laptop. So; while he would look up the next sound or loop I´d check this board. Naturally after a while he started wondering what was up.

mr. chinetty is currently touring so I do my usual "defending the castle" thing.

http://www.orgue-electronique.nl

There´s a elaborate mp3 section there for your enjoyment.

I recomend getting "the eye that never sleeps" and "dame am stuer" because those are the oldest tracks, from back when the world was innocent.

After that, you might want to have a listen to some of the "texas brooklyn and heaven" stuff. Those tracks are newer and a bit more atmospheric. Those are mixed with the "Nautilus engineering team" which basically means Smackos and me came over with a suitcase of analogue effects and ran everything in the red for a more "aged" sound.
