Episode 66 was a loop improv featuring the Matrix 12, through Resonator, into Repeater and then to DD-20

I had fun doing lots of tweaking of the sounds

I managed to get a bit carried away and managed to loop some nasty clipping. This has been surgically excised and cross-faded out Smile

Tomorrow night's episode of AIS will hopefully be broadcast from a B&B in Westbury on Trym, as I'm away from home for work

Unless of course the internet there doesn't work, but I'm hoping it will Smile

Travelling light, so just using VSS-30, PT-82, Kaossilator, Monotron, PX3 and DD-20

This episode ended up being mostly a showcase of the korg kaossillator through the korg monotron, looped and layered using a dd-20 delay

Also used were a casio pt-82, yamaha vss-30 and ipod touch using curtis as sampling material and android fx, nlog and manetron sounds, all through the monotron

Also uploaded is the 40 minute sound check from earlier in the evening Smile

Episode 70, 'Event Horizon', was performed using just Wavestation -> Resonator -> RNC -> Repeater -> Wedge, to make some nice evolving drones and spacey stuff

I feel the urge for something weird and minimal, so for tonight's show I'm probably going to do some weird live sampling on the vss-30, mixed in with ipod stuff and the air synth/fx duo

Episode 72 arrived on a bad day, so ended up a lot darker and bleaker than I had originally planned.

It was intended as a companion piece to Episode 9, being another loop improv using the VSS-30 to do some realtime sampling, but this time using a range of objects to provide sounds, all processed through the Air FX, with additional 'synth' timbres from the Air Synth, and overall ambient effects from the Wedge

Objects sampled include: voice, glass jar, metal tube, shelf bracket, bread knife, metal grill handle, toy dalek, toy smash robot, thunder maker, shakers, rain stick and thumb piano

There were some stereo problems in the performance, but these have been fixed for the download.

Tonight's AIS will be the return of the micromoog for some moog loops and drones

On the spur of the moment I took it to Quadelectronic last night and had lots of fun with it Smile

This episode was an exploration of feelings frustration and of being stuck in limbo, using drones and strange noises Smile

I used a very minimal setup: Micromoog -> DD-20 - > Wedge
