You haven't sent invoices yet have you? I got a message with a template for an email request which I sent off - just making sure you got it and I haven't missed anything.

What is GATE Priority in cycle mode ?

hey it just means that with this diode installed, a gate at the input is able to hold the FG high as in ASR mode. without it, you can only retrigger the FG as it decays.

hope that makes sense...

I guess I understand ; but this a preliminary choice you make before building the unit ; no gate priority ON/OFF switch is required.

I'll test with my ears.

Thank you.

Just populating the boards at the moment, there seem to be 2 x D6 marked on the silkscreen, I think one must be D2.

I'm putting the peak circuitry components onto board A (R43-R47 & Q5-Q6) and leaving them off board B.

Also I am not soldering C4 (47uF) onto board B, as it says in the BOM only one per pair is recommended.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could let me know if it sounds like I'm doing anything wrong here,

Cheers, Julian

Thanks for the advice and the boards, Very Happy sorry for being such a noob.

I am going to attempt to put 4 of these behind a 2U MOTM panel (powered from a single T0-220 regulator as you suggested in one of the PDFs.)

I'll post back with a fpd panel layout once I've figured it out.

Please do - I'd love to see how you make it fit! I've been toing with various ideas - 2 behind a 2u panel, or 4 behind a 3u panel, but haven't made any decisions yet.

anyone on here have a FPD file for a DUAL version (frac preferred but ANY format would help) of this module?

i have been studying the designs on here but i am having trouble getting them to print in actual size, which is why i thought a FPD would be good because i could measure the distances between things...

i want to get this thing built!!!

thanks

oh and just a question, there is a definite advantage to building it as a dual right? (as opposed to just making 2 singles?)

Definitely.

Why not a quad? I feel sorry for all the duals. Laughing

An FPD file for a quad panel would be great too.

hey wahts up everyone- an update: i am about to send files off for manufacture, emailing those who have not confirmed now. if you have not confirmed at the yahoo email i emailed you, then i can't guarantee i will have PCBs for you... maybe but maybe not...

anyways, i got the full version of the PCB software and thus have made quite a few changes to the board. i posted a list at my website, most of which are very minor, but a couple things will be more significant, especially to those who ordered before and possibly perhaps made/laid out panels.

here is the list and a little explanation:

added wire pads for control pots for convenience if you choose to wire your pots instead of using PCB mt. pots.

added R47 [1K at 'po']- was MIA on original

added pads for 4-pin .156" power header- love it or leave it, it's there, but the .1" pwr connector remains at nearly the same position it was on V2 pcb.

added 10V trace that eliminates flying wire [requires 2 jumpers tho.. still singlesided]

added extra 10V pad near 4016

added 2 gnd pads at PWR header

added 47K [now called R48] that was previously wired off-board

fixed R35 boo boo- now PCB reflects schematic. mode switch wiring is simple.

spaced all 4 mounting holes at 1/8" from edge bothways

moved pots in- VR2 ['outermost' PCB mt. pot] now at 1/2" center to edge- still spaced at 1" center to center.

i think that's it for the more significant stuff. i think i am going to make these new board soldermasks a new color as well.. not sure which yet. they are all the same amt. extra.

will make new docs in the meanwhile...

any comments? questions?

I had never received anything asking that I confirm my request for 3 of them, to a Yahoo address. ? I just sent my request to a PM.

So, here's my request for 3 of them - in public. Smile
