These days it's pretty hard to detect what instrument makes what sounds. I think the Lunettas are rather unique sounding. At any rate, Lunettas bring forth a unique style of music. But one could emulate the Lunetta sound on other gear.

I believe it, because I have one.

Despite the venerable lineage this synth represents, I was pleasantly surprised by the creativity of many of the new patches that were released with OS 3.5. The Voyager is not just for lead and bass. Laughing

Felicitations, mon ami.

All sounds from the synth although not all recorded at same time.

Is the lead voice played with a guitar-to-midi setup?

Yep it is, and the bass. The rest was done by my 8 year old nephew randomly setting up patterns on my Nemo.

The voyager responds pretty well from guitar as long as you use one of the mod busses for velocity control of the volume.

I have just ordered a Doepfer Dark Energy and VX-351 CV Expander for a start of a modular system.

I am going to expand to a eurorack system as well when I can sort out what to get.

It's got more knobs!

Sounds good through a guitar amp with a bit of distortion as well.

Those old little 'toys' always sounded like junk out of their built-in speakers, but once you connect them to a full range system, they don't sound have bad!

Indeed!
I'm very excited about the possibilities.I've known for some time that I was going to jump from Motu DP to Logic when I got my next machine,it was really a no brainer, especially since they chopped the price of Logic in half!
Now I just gotta learn it.

Nice one Jez. Smile

The MicroMoog has been on my wanted list for quite a few years now. In fact I'd be quite happy if it were my only analogue! Very Happy
