The fact Clavia will bring something new is an announcement dating two month ago Smile
Those gearjunkies aren't that fast Very Happy
What it will be...?
That's still a secret, until march 28, about ten o'clock...

It's a synth, with (for Clavia) some new features!
Maybe Electro 80 knows something more Wink

No pix this time! Laughing

AFAIK that new device is a very cool one, but it remains to see if the timing is right. The polka vendors are very good at grabbing attention.

BTW: That swedish made organ is pretty good.

Of course not!
Clavia has a very subtile way of leaking small bits of info. They tell you they are thinking about a new synth and by what name it will called and Lead 4 is not an option and the term wave table falls... But the concept is still changing... Certainly just some 'dust' to speculate on (Dutch to English translation)... Two years ago it started with the idea of bringing out a small and not so expensive synth like the one on the Stage, with some little extra's, like more oscillators, etc. Clavia was unsure about the Stage then, but it proofed to be a success, so they are much more daring towards the market then they ever were before. We will see in three weeks.

Did you saw (uhh, see) those extra page about the development on their site? Clavia only publish such stories and pictures when they are feeling good about themselves, which is, of course, just my observation Smile

Hmmm new synth is totally not interesting for me.

Im from Czech and using MicroModular and G2engine, this is big money for me. Not realy buying new synth for me.

Any chance new OS to G2 ???? This is my maximal priority!!!!

No one really knows of course, but an OS update is not expected soon. There are no rumours I know of and I did not hear anything about beta testing.

Clavia has mentioned to several people in emails or other communications that there is an update planned, but there is no date set for it yet. This probably means that you will have to have a bit of patience, but chances are good that it will be done.

Micro Modular with LED collared knobs and more buttons (with sampling and FX too Question Idea ) Very Happy

Oh drool!- I feel a Homer Simpson moment coming on Laughing

I've been a bit grumpy with Clavia recently, but only because I love them Cool
Clavia are definately the modern Moog, their range oozes professional quality (unlike the Japanese groovebox ridden 'has-beens' Wink ) .

A new Micro? Yes please.

editor+OS:
- midi in/out to pc ( audio via usb ? )
- more variations
- save patch with delay buffer ( buffer sampler, more granural function )
- multi point vector envelope( like time vector )
- x/y modulator for vector envelope
- wavetable synthesis ( drawable buffer )
- drawable lfo
- chaos ( fractal)
- another algo for string oscilator ( like hammer, bowed, karplus ... )
+ some bug fixes

and more for more modular creativity

Kamil,

if you really _need_ all that, an OS upgrade would probably be disappointing for you Crying or Very sad
