Ugghh... How did I miss this thread?!?

If there's a second run or a cancellation, I'd love one of these boards + PIC.

Hello

All orders that have been paid are now posted [in theory]
3-5 days Europe
5-7 days Outside Europe

Here is the finished documentation for the project [hope it makes sense]

Good luck with the solder iron, and some
nice panel fronts !

Oops - I saw the reference to the possibility of some 8 way slide switches being made available but hadn't realised that they were actually up for grabs.

I've dones some searching on the net and have found a number of Chinese manufactures of 8 way slide switchs but no obvious retail source.

Is ryktnk or anyone else able to offer pointers to a retail source of 1p8t and 1p4t slide switches (i.e. a source which will sell in small quantities and accept credit card payment)??

And by the way - I've received my board and PIC; thanks to ryktnk for making all this happen!

I got the package yesterday, many many thanks, I'm really looking forward to getting these built up.

Exc documentation too!

If anyone is group-buying the special slide switches, count me in, like JD I didn't realise there was some on offer.

Hello

I got mine in China last year, there are a couple of companies
that make them, but the MOQ is probably 200 or more.

If lots of people are interested maybe I can try and get some
more.

Panel wise the rotary switches are much easier to work with
because the slide switches all need precision rectangular cut-outs
which means CNC = expensive.
The slide switches have screw holes at each end.

Not necessarily CNC, could just drill a pilot hole and then route it out, then file off the edges.. but unless you have a nice router and the skills to go with it, not very precise.

Man, how did I miss this one! If any orders get canceled, I would be up for 2 boards + 2 PIC's. If you do a second run, please put me down for the same number. Wow, this project looks really cool, I am green with envy...!
